Hello fellow Traders (I hope that you wont mind me calling you this), I was encouraged to post and introduce myself. I specialise in Consulting and building (then selling) small companies, Investment and risk Consulting and company valuation. Then in January, I wanted to enter your world of Forex Trading and have spent countless hours understanding a complex and sophisticated environment. This site is somehwat unique in that there appear to be developers here and loads of helpful resources. I was interested in your views on a number of topics;

I started using MT4, then bought esignal charting (because of my indicator charts) but now find myself migrating back to MT4 because more indicators, EA's and Robots seem to be available for this platform.

I trade interday and intraday, always with trend (so I guess I'm not a range trader) using indicators that show me a price retracement prior to a resumption of price in the prevailing direction. The interday trades typically carry 150-300 pips of risk but provide maximum income over a 3-5 day period. Intraday trading is around the PP's on breakouts. It is obvious that the Banks (predominantly Deutsche Bank) seem to "dictate" price moves and provide the large, quick moves that lead to a retracement necessary for them to make their money. Iguess they must all be in communication to be able to move a $3trillion pd market! So, is there software out there that either spots large price retracements early in the move, tracks liquidy changes in a pair (from the Broker) or other indicator of a violent price move? Is there software that can track a retracement (through the moving averages) and alert you to a resumption in trend? Is there an indicator that can be set up while I'm catching sleep but which comes into play when the low or high of the previous day is broken and takes 10 or 20 pips out then automatically exits if the price (or moving average) moves against you? Does anyone here have the skills to code software that switches charts to the action chart, pulls up the order screen and automates the time consuming stuff or do you all tend to focus on just one or maybe two currencies and thus see the action? I'd be interested in setting up a company that provides education/indicators that automate much for newbs such as myself (and there is a large number in the UK who are setting up) and the retail market is vast. Be lucky! Thanks and kind regards
