Should I pay attention to every "red" news?

This may be too simple question but still curious until now for a newbie like me. I am currently avoid trading when important news come (marked by red or orange stripe). Always trade 30 minutes - 1 hour after the news. I know that not every red news are that important and I should attention to only that matters such as "Unemployment claims" or some spoken by important person such as Bernanke, Draghi, etc.
However just pay too much attention to many red (or even orange news) and you will missed a lot of trading opportunities. Do you have any advice about how to filter or manage the news that only has high effect involve with my trading? (Mostly EUR/USD, GBP/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF). Should I still pay attention to every red news?
