In the mean time they added indicators testing too (you only have to chose like on the picture) but the way they made it it is useless (in my opinion). For start, you can not set up different parameters of the indicator (it is always using default parameters) nor can you place 2 or more indicators on the same testing chart.
So, till they make it as it was possible in metatrader 4, the described way (with a template) is the closest that you can do compared to metatrader 4 indicators back testing (but even that is not the same, since you can not change the parameters, can not add indicator, can not remove indicator, .... while the test is running)
