Add a Time Frame

Hi, can anyone tell me if it is possible to add a TF to MetaTrader...and if so, how would I add a two hour TF.

What do you mean add a TF. 1) Do you mean have the ea stop and start during a select period, or 2) add 2 hours after the close of the day? I have enclosed my notes on creating a start and stop time in an EA.

use the period converter on a 1hr tf.

If you want a 2hr chart of cable then first open a 1hr chart of cable and run the period conveter on it. You need to make sure that under the common tab the allow dll is checked and then make sure under input tab that period multiplier is set at 2.

then go to file and open offline and find the gbp/usd 240 and double click it.

that will open a chart for cable in 2hr format. YOu cannot close the or change template onthe 1hr chart that the period conveter is on or the 2hr will stop working in real time.

this is the only what I have found to have charts in TFs not supported by mt4.
