Three Types of Relationships derived from GMMA
1. Pullback without Compression
• Short term group pulls back
• No compression in long term group
• Safe mid-trend entry based on temporary price weakness
2. Pullback and Compression – Weakening Trend
• Pullbacks occur in the context of continued compression in the long term group. This is a weakening trend as investors join the selling.
• Pullbacks have no investor support. Compression shows investors are selling.
• Sell off threatens the trend. Compression and dip shows strong investor selling.
3. Penetration – End of Trend
• Short term group penetrates long term group.
• Long term group compresses as investors BUY.
• Point A is confirmation of exit signals.
• Point B is full GMMA confirmation.
