EA - When not to trade?

Reading through the threads I'm noticing people mentioning that disabling an EA when big News happens, NFP(stands for?) etc is better to protect ones account.

So where does one go to find out this news and know exactly when to disable the EA. Also a list of events to look out for would be helpful for newbies.

Dude, there is an indicator around called FFCal_V3.mq4. You can link it to your EA and put a IF statement to isolate the trading time from t-minus announcement time, to TIMEOUT delay after announcement.
