Unless you are trading substantial size, I don't think it really matters. If the broker wants to take out your stops by price spikes, then will be murdered by fading routines that other large traders utilize. You should rather concentrate on developing a robust system than worrying about the broker's shenenigans.

I have picked this up whilest trading with one of those bucket shop brokers(not Meta based).
The coder stated that by building the EA to calculate the SL and TP on the client side, you reduce the risk of being spiked out of trades.
The logic is that instead of pre-sending your orders to the broker. Your EA works on your computer with same principals. An executes SL and TP as if you made the clean order real time.
I would just like some input with regards to your opinions on this
