What is a .tpl file? And where does it go? Thanks.

A .tpl file is a 'template' file and it goes in the template folder of your MT4 installation.

For example...

C:/MetaTrader4/templates

Once you get a chart set-up the way you want it, you will want to save that TEMPLATE.

Then you can pull up another currency pair and set it up with that template. It makes things a whole lot easier.
