Hello,

When I try to run the strategy tester I get error 131 for every trade that the EA tries to open. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi,

The strategy won't work. All my testing are correct I have checked. The problem is the SL. Please try to put the SL in your EA.

Salam Hedger,

To back test the EA you have to be sure of three things:

1- The EA compiled and placed in the /experts folder.

2- The indicator compiled and placed at the /experts/indicators folder.

3- The lot size is not refused by your brokerage (the default lot size it 0.01, change it to 1).

Hope you find it usefull.

P.S: I'm so sorry that I didn't reply your emails. I suffer time management problems

Think that we have to put the SL for this strategy.

  2. You can use UseStopLoss = ture.

OK! If I put the SL=true which is the SL? I mean how much? 10,20,30,50?

StopLoss = 25

But you will not get good results in the backtesting if you use SL.

I'm using the SL only on Fridays and when I close my computer for long time.

Please find my forward test report!

131 Pips in 3 days is good? Right?

I applied the StopLoss only on Friday before closing my computer.

Walaikom-Salam Brother Mohammed,

How do I compile? I've restarted the Metatrader. But no luck!!

(I put the indicator in the indicator folder and the expert in the expert folder. then restarted MTrader)!??
