how do i log out of meta 4 ive downloaded new indicator and it says i have to log out and log back in to make it work.

You shouldn't need to log out.

You can shut down and re-open MT4

or

simply open the navigator window, right click on the Indicators heading and click refresh.



This is assumng that you have placed the indicator file in the correct folder.
