Unable to draw permanent trendline on ROC

Hi

 

I use Rate of Change ( RoC ) in my trading and have recently had to delete and then reload MT4 to my pc due to some issues I was experiencing with my PC.

 

However since then, when I draw trendlines over the RoC in the bottom pane of my chart the trendline only stays for a couple of seconds and the disappears.

 

I wonder if anyone could help me with a solution to fix this please.

Check it on a clean chart with no other indicators or EAs attached and see if you have the same problem. It may be that another EA or indicator is deleting the lines.

Otherwise, you will need to attach the mq4 code for the ROC as we cannot guess what the problem is.

Yes with a clean chart with no other indicators it works just fine so there is clearly something affecting it from my other indicator.
