Metaeditor Crashing

I still have not figured out why metaeditor keeps crashing. I do nothing other than try to compile a file and it tells me that I can not save it is write protected. So I have to rename it and then I can compile it. Sometimes all I have to do is hit the space key and I have to get it unlocked by renaming the file again. Is there a bug in the new compiler or is there no answer to this question. I see my previous posts were deleted so is there no interest in solving this problem?

Write protected has nothing to do with the editor. It is a windows problem. Ownership? Disk failing?

I suggest you save your file elsewhere, uninstall, delete any remaining directories and install again.

You can have this message with MetaEditor if a file is renamed while it's still open in ME.
