Do expert advisor logs get deleted after x days?

Hi,

Does anyone know why any of my expert advisor logs older than 7 days get deleted?

Is there any way to tell MT4 not to delete the logs?  

I had not noticed this until recently.

  1. Because that is what it does. Depending on the code some can get GB large.
  2. No. Why would you want a six months of old logs taking all the space on your drive?
  3. Save them elsewhere if you really need them.
 

Oh, I don't want 6 months worth of logs certainly, but at least 2-4 weeks worth would be good.

Every 7 days is a tad too quick, I've lost a whole week's worth of data because of this without realizing I have to manually copy the files to save them. 

 
Or you use PowerShell once a day..
