If modified and compilied while EA is running on MT4 will need to reattach?

While EA was still running live doing auto-trading I modified some code and compilied it but didn't removed and reattach EA on MT4 terminal.So in that codition will EA be running will be modified too or it will use the old compilation code.

Old EA still running instead of New EA
Change input variable while EA is running on chart is not effective on the same chart. It requires to remove the EA completely and reattach it with changed variable.

Look at the experts log tab. You will see if EA is reinitialized when you compiled it (it will have log entries for deinit and after that for init).

If it is reinitialized, then it is using new code.
