Did you ever find out how to do this?
I am wanting an easy way to update the EA's on my server. Currently I am having to copy the EA's to the server, log into the server, load the new EA's in MetaEditor and click on compile. That's bad enough for just one EA but I have multiple instances of MetaTrader installed on the server and it's proving to be very cumbersome.
Does anybody actually know how MetaEditor is telling MetaTrader to reload the EA?
Thanks

Hi,
Is it possible to automatically re-load a loaded indicator say after a compile ?
It is possible to reload, if we open metaeditor and click on compile on any of the files. It doesn't matter
which file, meta-trader will refresh and re-load the indicator. Can we do it manually ?
I downloaded the command line mql.exe and compiled it manually but MT4 did not reload the indicator.
