I dont think there ever was supposed to be a profiles/templates folder. My templates folder is in the terminal data folder.
Sounds like a documentation goof then. I have seen that if you don't have a chart in the profile you're logged into but do have a debug.tpl in the templates folder the debugger opens that chart.
