Meta Editor not updated.

Hi,

I recently went to close a chart and accidently shut down the platform (Why are those X's so close together?)

So I started the platform again and it auto-updated to build 625 from 610.

Next time I looked at MetaEditor, there was the small message "Do you want to save changes to....."

I guess that the update process tried to close the editor, but failed.

Now I can't compile anything, Editor is still showing as build 887

Any ideas? What can I do? I can't see how to update the editor independently.

 

Have you try to reinstall? Or uninstall and install?

Try those first. Of course, backup what you want to backup first.

No, I was hoping that somebody would know of a way to update the editor independently .

 

Well, I opened another broker's platform and that updated automatically.

After backing up, I replaced the editor application with a copy of the newly updated application and it seems to be working perfectly.
