subscribing to signals

If you don't have the Signal Tab in your Terminal you need to ask your Broker to support Signals . . .
I can't seem to become a subscriber to signals with metatrader 4. I have followed the steps in the video tutorial and still I don't get the "signals" tab in the terminal window. When I subscribe to an SP and click launch metatrader 4, it just opens the program. This is probably the ultimate n00b post of the day but can somebody please help me with this problem.
I have followed these steps but still cannot find that signals tab in the terminal itself furthermore my account on the site doesn't indicate that I am following any SP either. https://www.mql5.com/en/articles/523
