Keeping margin call

Good day. My name is Lee and I'm a new trader from the Philippines. I have a classic account but I don't trade live yet because I'm still getting some practice. So what I'm doing now is a demo account that is free. I am certainly learning a lot from this demo account. But surely it would be very different when I go live. When I go to live trading and for example I did not meet the margin call, can I still keep the trade? Can I keep it at no extra charge? Thanks.

If you don't have enough free margin to open the trade, it won't open.

If you don't have enough free margin as it goes against you, it will be closed by the broker (at a loss.)

Noted with big thanks. So the one closed by my broker itself, will go back to my funds or directly to the broker? I am trading with GDMFX by the way.

You've lost half or more of your equity. When the trade is closed, you've now lost half of more of your balance. You're not going to ever get a refund.
