hopefully someone can advise me
whlist using the mt4 in tester mode with an EA in visual mode, i.e. you can see the chart drawing on screen as ea plays, i wish to use a script to return the details of the order which is currently open on the ea tester window, however i can't seem to get the script to capture any order details.
for example, the EA is running in visual mode, there is a Sell order on the chart with a stop loss and take profit, and yet when i drop a script on the chart the function OrdersTotal() with in the script returns zero orders.
i have searched around for a while trying to get an answer but am going round in circles, so hopefully someone can advise me why and how to account for orders on an EA testing chart - specifically using a script.
