Trading station/Tester/History
I have never heard of this or worried about it.
I just checked my tester\history folder and it was empty. Then I ran and aborted a few ordinary back tests on different symbols and timeframes so now I have 4 fxt files in there. Closing the terminal and strategy tester didn't delete them, so it is unclear what does delete them. I then did an optimization run and that was no problem either.
These fxt files can get pretty big so if you want to delete them there is no liability in doing so.
I wonder if this happened in some old version of MT4 and was just a bug that has been fixed long ago.
I'm still on 402 and tester\history folder was empty
Perhaps he installed in \program files* on Vista/Win7

Hello,
I was told that when optimization of a forex robot is in effect you can only have one file in the tester/history. But it would appear that another one has been created, do i need to remove that new one? I was told only one file can be in this location at one time, other wise it confuses the program. Any help would be great!
