how do I change the properties of a chart, things line line colour of GBPUSD in code?

You cannot change the properties of the chart, only objects.

You should read object related functions here.

I have created some objects and played with these but I wanted simply to be able to change the line colour, seems strange why MT4 does not let you access to these properties :(
