anyone could explain this issue:
I am using a particular EA with many variables, on MT4 platform.
This issue affects on all mt4 platform tried: alpari, avafx, gomarkets, fx-open, and many others.
usually I use about 5 single variable to create my personal optimization
Each variable can be set to 0,1,2
total 3x3x3x3x3=243 passes for the optimization.
When already setted up all parameters, I start the optimization and in the left bottom corner on mt4 strategy tester window will appear 1/243, with the first number increasing during the time
This is the actual correct optimization way.
******BUT If I choose to use one more variable (this setted as 0,1,2)
I should add more x3 to my total passes, reaching 243 x 3 = 729 passes for the optimization.
This time in the left bottom corner of the strategy test appears 1/1280 (729)
I don't understand why I don't see 1/729
How many passes will study my optimization? 729 or 1280? Will be slower?
