It came to me while I was trying to comprehend some code I needed to integrate into my latest attempt at making an EA. When I realized that accessing historical bars was simply a matter of changing one integer, I thought to myself: "Putting a negative number for that value would tell the program to look for values in future bars... Golly, wouldn't that be great?"
