Why is the MQL4 forum flooded with MQL5 stickies?

This is getting a little absurd here guys, half of the threads per page are now stickies, and most of them are advertising MQL5 and have nothing to do with MQL4...If you just want to kill the MQL4 forum you only need about 10 more stickies! You can do it, I have total confidence!

(and I like how the excuse for why we can't have the "search the forum" thread stickied was because we could not have more stickies...but if it is MQL5 related I guess the restriction magically doesn't exist)

Speaking of searching the forum, the mql4 forum search is worth-less lately. I can't even recommend someone use it anymore rather one have to use google with "mql4.com". It's sad actually. On another note, seems MQ is looking for ways to kill mt4 IMHO. Allot of people complain about the newer updates etc. IFRC, you regretted delaying your migration from mt3 to mt4. Have you now made the pilgrimage to mt5? If so, would you recommend we all do the same? ..... I can see MQ forcing it soon as they'll definitely do so before they let their new baby FAIL all-imho.

ubzen, I don't know of any NFA licensed brokers that offer MT5 for live trading. I can get demo accounts with NFA licensed brokers but none of them are willing to put it into live trading environment yet.

This forum needs more MQL5 stickies!

It's notable that there have been two recent entries by major brokers into the MetaTrader arena - Oanda and GFT - and neither show any sign of offering MT5 rather than MT4. There's also the slightly bizarre position that none of the three principal broker sponsors of the 2010 ATC (i.e. for MT5 only) show any sign of putting any weight behind MT5.

I once had a go at responding to the MT5 stickies with a quick MT4 version (https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/127032), but it didn't get a lot of interest. Though it did attract more comments than the original MT5 article.

Signed to reduce the number of MQL5 related stickies. 1 or 2 should more than suffice in redirecting people to the mql5 forum.
