Screen for currency pairs

A) AFAIK It's next to impossible to back test an EA with more than one currency pair.
B) IMHO An EA isn't supposed to return currency pair information - that's an indicator's job

(*) All things are possible, given Time & Resources. Similar things can be more easily achieved with an indicator to display that to human operator, and multiple EAs each running on a different chart

I have never seen a EA that will return which currency pairs meet a given criteria. For example, which pairs show price above the 50 EMA on the daily and 4 Hour chart. Can this be done? Has it been done? Is there code that can bee used to model a more complex screen?
