Profit Factor On No Stop Loss

Hello everyone!

I wonder what is the calculation for the Profit Factor if I do NOT have a Stop Loss or 0 as in zero.

OPForex

Profit factor - The ratio of gross profit to gross loss.

Back-tester will not calculate Profit-Factor if there's no losses.

Without stop-loss you can still blow-up the account.

Thank you, I was mistaken to not include the "close at stop" trades losses. Anyway, the zero-stop-loss thing are not meant for live trading.

Why? If you can life with the drawdown caused by a zero-stop-loss strategy, or do some hedging strategy? It depends totally from your trading style and the max exposure you are comfortable with.

If have currently running such a system on a (small) live account with profit factor 4.54
