newbie needs help

this is probably going to sound really silly and basic,but I need the help.

I have downloaded scriopts to meta editor but cant work out how to apply it to mt4. The instructions and guide bookdont seem to transfer it across so that it appears in the charts. any help or a simple list of instructions would be greatly apprecdated

A) Make sure Navigator is visible ( View - Navigator, or Ctl-N)

B) In Navigator window (half way down LHS for me), expand 'Scripts' (last item of tree for me)

C) Drag-N-Drop your script onto the chart

There may be other ways, but that works for me

I currently have the script in meta editor. When i do as you say and expand scripts,my script is not there, only visible in the meta editor

in MetaEditor go to file ---> save as... (save it on the right place) ----> F5

when i went to save it gave me the option to save it in desktop.I changed this to metatrader but it still doesnt appear in the scripts,thanks

 

like i said (save it on the right place) \\ metatrader \ is not the place
