does time[0] reflect the actual time the first tick of a new bar arrived or does it reflect the time the new bars period is supposed to have begun ?

ok i did what i should have done in the first place and ran a test to find out, in case anyone else searches this topic, the answer is time[0] begins at the arrival of the first tick of a new bar which may be several seconds after the beginning if the bars time actual time period.
