Hello there, I would like to write an EA or indicator that detects when the market is over lapping (see attachment) between the bid and ask levels. It must over lap at least 3 times before the alert is given, does anyone have any ideas on how to do this ? It must not give any alert when they do not constantly over lap. By over lapping I meen is that the bid and ask prices join in with each other as each tick then jumps 3 pips not just 1 pip...Take a close look at the attachment it will explain it nicely. So we will need somthing like : if market price ticks 3 pips + and then 3 pips minus then send alert or somthing like that im not sure how we can structure it.
