afaik it is not possible to run metatrader from a console. could be possible trought wine, but i realy don't think so.
another option is to run a copy of windows in a virtual box.
may i ask how deep is your expirience with linux?

i have a Web vServer with a Debian distribution.
i can only look with Putty (shell) and with Webbrowser if i have a Aplication thats works on browser.
