Alpari US / metaquotes(alpariUS) demo accounts experience memory leak

I manage over 200 MT4 platforms for clients, across 4 brokerage feeds,

Each MT4 is forward testing a proprietary EA on demo accounts

all standard installation

updated to build 224

all one chart profiles

all with same EA input parameters

all 10K initial account

The average memory usage for an MT4 over a 2 week period is between 27 and 35 Meg depending on how many indicators are running on the EA.


We have had much difficulties with EVERY ONE of 28 Alpari US accounts consuming over 200 Meg. causing us to have to restart many times during trial. Alpari UK is performing comparable with the other brokerage platforms 27-35 Meg.


We have tried two experiments to workaround the issue:

  1. install MetaQuotes default MT4 with Alpari US account and server login

  2. install an Alpari UK MT4 with US account and server login

Both of these cases still experience a memory leak though seemingly slower than the out of box Alpari US MT4. ( How could this really matter, very strange ???)


  1. Has this been reported?
  2. Is there a solution
  3. MOST Importantly, is the Live Alpari Account suffering from the same problems?
