EA for swing trading?

Hi, I have been thinking about developing EA for swing trading but can’t seem to get a grip on identifying entry, stops and target points automatically.

Any suggestions in those directions would be great help. Thanks

 

well! I found a helpful article for placing stops using various types of analysis. Check it out @ Types of stops.

I will be keep adding anything I find on this.

For swings, I would use a longer time frame for entry on several small orders, with progressive closes on a shorter timeframe

E.g. enter on the H4, close with the same indicators on the H1

For yen crosses, see the MCL indicator in one of these free packages http://www.selectfx.net/free_stuff_ind.htm

SL & TP could be based on opposite Bolli Bands - with different deviations

You might size lots based on the W1 &/or D1 picture being in sync with the H4
