MT4 / EA compatibility with 64-bit Vista on an AMD Phenom quad-core desktop - page 2

I am also considering moving from my black 6400 to the Phenom2 4-8 Gig memory.

Consider running linux as the main OS

then install VMWare

open VMWare and then install your Win XP 32 bit version as if it was a new machine install.

You have now created a Win XP image on a linux box.

You now can have any number of virtual Win XP machines independent and concurrently running.

...provided that you're prepared to pay for a separate copy of Windows XP for each virtual machine.

and what do you mean by platfrom? Do I have to 'double' the MT4 program folder with a second name (e.g. MetaTrader 4.2 ) to start it a second time?

By platform I mean a MT4 program, you know, the one you use to communicate with your broker to act on the market.

Yes, 'double' (copy and paste it) and try like that it should be ok.

Look in the forum, the subject has already been treated in details.
