I just downloaded a new EA onto my platfom but it is greyed out. What did I do wrong?

If it is greyed out in the list of experts, that means simply that the object code (ex4 file) has been inserted in the experts directory but the source code (mq4 file) has not.
It would appear blue if you copied over the mq4 file too. I'm assuming that the developer has not released his source code to you.
The expert will run fine, but obviously you won't be able to make changes to it in Meta-editor.
