Which is more useful for mql4: C or C++ ?

I wondered if those of you out there regularly programming EA's would mind sharing what your opinion is on the above topic heading?

Is C or C++ more useful to you to know before starting to code mql?

Benefits and disadvantages of both?

If you were going to start coding mql and did not know C or C++, which would you learn first?

Take any thick book on C and read. It's enough.
 
Thanks for the input! Obviously I did look throuh the archived forum posts but there seemed to be conflicting comments as to which to use!
