morning surges

I have noticed that there is a pretty good spike at 8:15 EST (13:15 on platform) nearly every single day either up or down. Does anyone know what this is caused by? Thanks.

Most of the USD news are announced at 8:30 every other day or so. US news create a lot of volatility lately.
Go to forexfactory com and check the calendar.
