how can a person see or get the ticks.raw file in usable format?? I assume it contains the ticks and time, both of which I need.. just them..

Try this "mt.exe" file.

It will give you ticks stream of GBPUSD for last 15 minutes everytime you run the file.

Extract is to C:\Metas_trafic\ticks_data_GBPUSD.csv

GBPUSD data is the same as in ticks.raw file only no need to close MetaTrader to get updated info (as it is with ticks.raw file).

Tested on MetaTrader version 4.0 build 222
