When placing a trade, remember the spread is variable. It’s a built-in cost you pay upfront, so the position opens slightly negative. That cost narrows your reward and can worsen your risk-to-reward if your targets are tight. Factor the spread into your R:R and be selective with entries to stay profitable | Practical reminders

Trade liquid sessions/pairs; avoid widened spreads.

Don’t use targets that are the same size as the spread.

Include spread/fees in your position and R:R planning.

If I were to connect the dots, deleting the spread (it being raw/zero, in respects), we find our complex lot sizing picks at equal distances, WHEN Time and Price adjusts!
