I was asked about my thoughts on trading with ORB Seeker and when there is high impact news, and I though it would be good to share my thoughts here with everyone.
Trading through high impact news events is a personal preference and personally I don't pay much attention to it, I'm more focused on price action and market structure, so basically I'm more of a techincal trader, but that does not mean I don't pay attentinon to the news, I do, but it does not factor a lot in my trading decisions.
Do news events affect the results of ORB Seeker? Well, yes and no. From my experience it's been 50/50. For example last Friday we had NFP and ORB Seeker had a profitable breakout. Today we had the CPI news which is one of the most volatile US news events and ORB Seeker had a loss, screenshot attached.
If you pay a lot of attention to high impact news events thats completely fine, feel free to sit out of the marekt when there is news or just let things play out, it's up to you.

So I don't think that posting only the wins is being truly honest, its important to also show the losses as some days we do lose. Today we had a loss on XAUUSD during the NY session.
Losses can and will happen, the important thing is that we stick to the strategy, use good risk management, and move on to the next one. 👍
