The latest version of Forex Trend Hunter (v5.7) includes a comprehensive set of drawdown protection features designed to enhance risk management. The following safeguards have been integrated:
1. Maximum Open Lots
2. Maximum Daily Loss (in currency)
3. Maximum Daily Drawdown (in %)
4. Minimum Equity (in currency)
5. Maximum Equity (in currency)
6. Maximum Equity Drawdown (in %)
These protection parameters can be customized directly from the EA input settings. By default, all values are set to 0.00, which means the protections are disabled until configured.
These features are especially useful for traders using prop firm accounts (such as FTMO or other funded programs) that enforce strict drawdown limits.
Ultimately, each trader should evaluate whether to enable these protections and choose the values that best align with their trading goals and risk tolerance.
