I require a new indicator developing for MQL4 which will draw short horizontal lines (horizontal trend lines with Ray disabled is fine) which will run from a bar high to a bar low if they are within 'n' pips of each other.

The horizontal line length needs to be an external variable.

Basically from a current bar low you would check 'n' number of bars back and if a bar high is within 'n' pips of the current low then draw a short horizontal line from the bar high 'n' number of bars length forwards from current bar.

If 2+ lines are created for the current bar I would like only the highest line to be drawn.

I would also need an alert setting up and arrows if a bar closes beneath the current length of the line.

Vice versa for a current bar high against previous bar lows.

I can provide a chart with examples if needed.
