Hi I am looking for my TV strategy to be turned into an automated EA. i will provide the scripts for you to take a look, I believe it requires NinjaTrader 8 due to it's fiddly nature.
Please see the attached scripts which make up the strategy I would like the EA for. Please feel free to apply them in your Trading View to see the logic. I am exclusively using this on XAUUSD only on the 1-minute timeframe so please apply on that timeframe. Please also see attached the settings I am using for both scripts. The Gold script generates the signals the ATR is the script for the ATR that I am using to determine the SL and TP values. Once the signal is received and the trade is entered into, the SL value is half between the middle of the bottom of the candle to the ATR value for a Buy (regardless of the candle being bullish or bearish) and half between the middle of the top of the candle to the ATR value for a Sell (regardless of the candle being bullish or bearish). I am aware the indicator repaints (as you see how it works) however what I would like is for a trade to be entered into upon the close of the candle where the conditions are met and still true after it has closed. So in other words, there are occasions where the signal appears and disappears for the same candle during the minute it is being generated, and I would like only for trades to be entered into once the candle closes and the signal conditions are still true. I'm weary of just relying on the signals to be generated in Trading View to then be acted upon by the EA, so ideally I think if the strategy could be replicated your side i.e. within the EA based on the broker data so all the values that the script calculates can be calculated in the EA e.g. those of the heiken ashi candles etc, that is how ideally I'd like the EA to work - independently of Trading View. For the EA I am thinking of a few configurable options but I'll wait till you have had a chance to look at the scripts first.
