Hello,
I would like to modify a StepMa indicator with arrows to filter out some of the arrows. I will provide the indicator to work with it.
We load the StepMa into the chart and set the Sensitivity value to 12. In this example, this will be called `StepMa1’ with sensitivity 12 and bigger arrows
Then we load the StepMa again into the chart and set the Sensitivity value to 3. In this example, this will be called `StepMa2’ with sensitivity 3 and smaller arrows.
I would like to filter the arrows of StepMa2 using StepMa1. So, StepMa1 would be exactly as the original one but it will be used as a filter for StepMa2.
When StepMa1 shows a blue line buffer then StepMa2 will only draw the blue arrows but it will not draw the red arrows. In this case, StepMa2 buffer arrowUp will DRAW_ARROW but the buffer arrowDn will DRAW_NONE
When StepMa1 shows a red line buffer then StepMa2 will only draw the red arrows but it will not draw the blue arrows. In this case, StepMa2 buffer arrowDn will DRAW_ARROW but the buffer arrowUp will DRAW_NONE
I attach several images to show it in detail.
The key in StepMa2 is to DRAW_ARROW if the conditions are met or DRAW_NONE if the conditions are not met. The rest of the indicator must be the same and it have to work exactly the same.
It would be great if we could combine both StepMa indcators into one single indicator.
If it is not possible to combine both indicators into one single indicator (displaying bigger and smaller filtered arrows) then I would need the StepMa2. I would need a filtered version of the StepMa indicator that will only display the filtered arrows as stated before.
I attach another image to show.
