I’m James Gorham, the trader behind Smooth Operator FX. I have traded exclusively in the foreign exchange market since early 2015, building my experience through years of changing conditions, profitable periods, and challenging setbacks.

My understanding of trading comes from putting real decisions to the test. I have experienced the confidence that comes with success and the discipline it takes to work through difficult markets. Those lessons have shaped how I approach trading today with patience, clear rules, and respect for risk.

Over time, my focus has evolved from simply finding the next winning trade to developing a repeatable approach. I believe that meaningful progress comes from understanding why you enter a trade, managing your exposure, and staying consistent when emotions make that difficult.
