Confirmed-close Renko boxes, failure swings, dead-side EV, and higher-timeframe stack flips decide when a sell (or buy) trend is actually over and new trades on that side must stop; if H1 and H4 are still violently one-way, it refuses the fake turn and keeps you with the bad tape instead of jerking you out of a live trend.
