ok thanks. What do the colors of the DPOC represent?
LowestPocColor, LowPocColor, MiddlePocColor, MediumPocColor, HighPocColor, HighestPocColor - group of variables determining the color plots of the DPOC curve, depending on the volume value.
the color of dynamic point changes in filter mode IF zoom in OR out,
does this mean its comparing to longer history available in the screen if we zoom out of chart? hence the color change?
thank you.
Hello.
The indicator sorts volumes relative to the data that is located between the left and right sides of the chart window.
If in the chart window were changes (increased or decreased or scrolled by user), it means that the content in the window has also changed, therefore the indicator will recalculate everything again and give a new result.
Yes, indeed, the stairs are placed automatically in those places where the POC levels has been for a long time.
These stairs are placed, again, automatically, which means it is normal but not very perfect.
Only the human eye can identify the stairs very perfect. ))
thats amazing and very helpful.
I wonder if you have time to consider this for next update maybe? only showing stairs that comes from HIGH or HIGHEST POC which would be the one with RED or PURPLE .

To be honest, I don't understand what you mean by the definition of "HIGH or HIGHEST PRICE".
High relative to what ?
Highest relative to what ?
And if we are talking about such definitions, then why are we not talking about the definitions of "low" or "lowest" ? And relative to what ?
I was referring to the colors, looks like highest poc and high poc have purple and red...
it seems like the poc with gray color has the weakest and shortest stairs,
I was trying to filter those...
but then I realized that if I zoom in and out, data will recalculate to make it more relevant to all the data on the screen, hence the color changes on the poc.
so that is not related to stairs, and stairs are there to show the balanced/flat poc.

nevermind... I can ignore those by my eyes!!!
Ah, now I understand what exactly you meant by the words "high" and "highest", that is, the value of volume at the POC level.
Yes, the stairs are built without taking into account these parameter, therefore you can make "filtering" only with your eyes. ))
I could really use an alert feature when price touches the VAL and VAH. hard to filer 28 currencies and select the one at the edge of VAL VAH without an alert.
popup or sounds, whatever you think its easy and doable?

Hello.
I will think about it, but for now I can’t promise it in advance and for sure.
Why is it saying "DPOC: No data for Period M5" on the top left of my chart??
Hello.
In order for the indicator to work correctly, it requires data from lower (relative to the current) timeframes.
Below I have attached a file, there is an instruction on how to download the history correctly.

Hi Evgeny
question regarding the stairs.
how are they calculated? is it because the POC is flat and basically that says its balanced ?
thank you.
