since I got this question a few times, I would like to remind you that for an accurate backtest it is important to do a Tickdata Backtest using real Tickdata.
There are a few ways how you can do this. Backtest Quality should always be 99% for a realistic impression of how Power Grid Bot (or any other EA) works.
You can also go further and use variable spread and slippage simulation as well as trading costs per round lot. I did this in the short video you can watch
on the overview page.
I started a Demo account for demonstration purposes. However it is very new and has a short history. It uses the Normal Risk settings with $1000 starting Balance.
But it is fully verified. I will add a Screenshot.
I wish you all the best and feel free to continue asking if anything is unclear.

I changed the demonstration account leverage from 1:50 to 1:500 in the process of further developiong the system. It harmed the reliability score of the signal a bit, so i am not going to change it back. But the system DOES work with leverage of 1:50
Restructured Inputs Tab. For clarification, the Initial Lotsize, Lot addition and Maximum Lotsize are Based on Grid Cycles and Balance Steps. These are not absolute values, but dynamic. They adapt to your account size. Minimum Initial deposit to run the EA are $3000, which are not neccessarily equal to the Grid Cycles. I strongly recommend to leave all settings as default.
Changed default settings to start with 0.01 lots. Grid Cycle is now $1500 as default and minimum order distance (in pips) changed to 15. This setting can be considered low risk, which it is set as default.
If you want to be more aggressive you can try 0.02 as initial lotsize grid cycle - 0.03 max. Leave everything else as default.

What's new: More trades, less required deposit, more adjustable. However make sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise please leave all settings as default. They work fine.
Minimum deposit lowered to $2000 from $3000. Minimum Grid Cycle and Balance Step $2000.
As a rule of thumb: The lager the Grid Cycle and Balance Step (should be same value), the lower the drawdown and profit (=safer).
However your deposit must be minimum the same as the Grid Cycle/Balance Step value. It can also be higher though (which is more aggressive again).

Dear Customers and Subscribers,
Version 2.3 is coming up.
I strongly recommend to use the Default Settings. Remember to set the GMToffset parameter to your current Broker
GMToffset (Summertime), this should be +3 in most cases. You can alsways ask your broker to clarify.

Version 2.3 OUT NOW!
Regards,
FXALGOS
Dear Customers and Subscribers,
due to some stresstests, I recommend a minimum Leverage of 1:100 instead of the previous 1:50
This will allow Power Grid Bot to have enough room to breathe to recover from a drawdown.
Please contact me if you have any questions or give me a feedback. I will be happy to help wherever I can.

There is a massive update coming up this week!
The main changes concern moneymanagment and intelligent grid structure and there will be a completely new look to the inputs tab and layout.
Power Grid Bot will be able to automatically adapt to DST (US) which most brokers use, so users don't have to change the GMToffset between summertime
and wintertime anymore. Simply type in your brokers GMToffset for wintertime (in most cases +2), and you are good to go.
Following are the new features of version 3.0 . The EA was completely overhauled and refurbished.
In many ways it seems like a completely new and better EA. Here is the List of improvements..
- Function Lot addition / LotPlus recoded and improved for all account sizes
- Parameters Start Balance and Balance Step added
- Parameter Magic Number added
- Parameter Trade Comment added
- Lotsize of initial trade linked to account balance and balance step
- Lot addition linked to account balance and balance step
- Maximum Lotsize linked to account balance and balance step
- Disable Monday trading parameter added
- Disable Friday trading parameter added
- set GMT offset to +2 by default
- automated DST change (US)
- Parameters renamed for easier understanding
- new inputs tab layout
- Removed LotMultiplier parameter
- Removed Trend Filter parameter, Trendfilter timeframe and Trend moving averages
- Removed RiskBalancePercent parameter
- Removed EquityTP parameter
