Attension: users of the EA using it on currency pairs where 1 point is not equal to 1 cent when upgrading to version 6.8 must recalculate the parameters of the EA, which were previously set in cents!
I apologize, but the transition to setting parameters in points will help to avoid possible errors when working on different types of accounts.
For the major currency pairs EURUSD, GBPUSD, nothing will change.
Did you try other pairs? I am trying on XAUUSD by TDS 99.9%.
Hope to get a good result.
Cheers
GS grid uses a universal algorithm and can work on various currency pairs and timeframes. Version 7.7 has lowered martingale settings, which
increases the margin of safety of the Deposit. However, the current market situation is extremely volatile and unpredictable, so I
recommend reviewing settings every week to avoid missing a significant trend in the unprofitable direction. Trading on the EURUSD pair is
the most stable among others. For the XAUUSD pair to trade successfully, you need to set the parameters of the adviser in accordance with the
weekly forecast.

Agree, under these critical , unpredictable, difficult moment, one should take extreme care for all the market situation.
Could I suggest for trade direction for buy and sell triggered by signal, not limit buy or sell, but just 1 direction as EA working.
It's like; if signal triggering buy or sell firstly, then must be finished all existing orders, then allow for next signal(buy or sell), it's
just like FIFO,
I think by this way the DD could be more controlled, compared with buy and sell trade at the same times, and perhaps more adapted to the market
moves.

An attempt to find the direction of trading using the market was made in the implementation of the GS hero adviser https://www.mql5.com/en/market/product/40513.
You can test it and make sure that it does not give advantages over GS grid.

Published a new version 7.1 GS grid with changed default settings.
I recommend it on the H1 EURUSD interval.
In the screenshots you can compare the test results with the default parameters at the intervals of H1 and M15:
I can't explain it, but in the strategy tester, the GS grid test on the same data on Monday is different from the results obtained on Sunday.
I've noticed this before for other experts, the test results on weekends are different from the results obtained on weekdays.
See for yourself:
Why there are few orders in the buying mode, or basically no orders, and the selling mode is normal
