Strong Trend Rider EA MT5


Strong Trend Rider EA MT5 is an automated trading Expert Advisor designed to identify strong bullish and bearish market trends using Heiken Ashi candles.

The EA detects large candle formations, evaluates market activity using tick volume, and automatically opens BUY or SELL trades when its trading conditions are satisfied.

It includes configurable stop loss and take profit levels, spread protection, volume confirmation, and money management options to help users control their trading risk.

The EA supports multiple timeframes, allowing traders to select their preferred chart timeframe or configure a specific trading timeframe.

    1. Trading Strategy

    The EA analyzes completed Heiken Ashi candles to identify strong market movements.

    • BUY Signal: A strong bullish Heiken Ashi candle is detected.

    • SELL Signal: A strong bearish Heiken Ashi candle is detected.

    The EA evaluates candle size, candle body percentage, and optional tick-volume confirmation before opening a trade.

    2. Stop Loss and Take Profit

    The EA automatically calculates protective trade levels.

    BUY trades: The stop loss is placed below the strong bullish candle's low, with an adjustable buffer.

    SELL trades: The stop loss is placed above the strong bearish candle's high, with an adjustable buffer.

    The take profit is calculated using the configured risk/reward ratio.

    3. Spread Control

    The spread filter checks the current market spread before opening a trade.

    If the spread exceeds the maximum permitted value, the EA rejects the trading signal.

    This feature helps avoid entries when trading costs are unusually high.

    4. Tick-Volume Filter

    The volume filter evaluates the tick volume of the completed signal candle.

    It compares the signal candle's volume against:

    • The minimum required tick volume.

    • The average tick volume of previous candles.

    • The configured volume multiplier.

    Trades are only considered when the volume conditions are satisfied.

    5. Money Management

    The EA provides two position-sizing methods:

    Fixed Lots: Uses a predefined trading volume.

    Risk Percentage: Calculates the position size using account equity, the selected risk percentage, and the stop-loss distance.

    The maximum lot size can be configured to limit position volume.

    6. Daily Loss Protection

    The optional daily loss protection monitors account equity against the starting equity of the broker's trading day.

    When the configured daily loss threshold is reached, the EA stops opening new trades until the next trading day.

    This protection does not automatically close existing positions.

    7. Recommended Starting Settings

    • Timeframe: M15

    • Money management: Risk percentage

    • Risk per trade: 1%

    • Risk/reward ratio: 1:2

    • Average candle period: 20

    • Big candle multiplier: 1.5

    • Minimum candle body: 60%

    • Volume multiplier: 1.0

    • Maximum positions: 1

    These are example starting settings and should be evaluated using historical testing and a demo account.
